What is the Studio about?

The Studio brings together individuals passionate about making a difference, fostering a collaborative learning environment. Through this programme, participants can build on their ground experience to gain new skills and insights, enabling them to design and implement impactful social projects.

It also creates a network of change-makers, amplifying their ability to address societal challenges effectively.

Why is it important?

Outcomes-based models such as Pay for Success (PFS) can align social funding with measurable social impact, offering a new way for social sector leaders in Singapore to fund and scale effective programmes. As this model directly ties social funding to the achievement of positive social outcomes, leaders must possess the skills to design, implement, and evaluate impactful programmes.

Enhancing these skills ensures that the social interventions are measured against rigorous and achievable targets, and can crowd in a new wave of impact investors and donors to attract the necessary funding as social needs grow.

Who should apply?

The Studio is crafted for professionals in a social impact role engaged in programme design, monitoring and evaluation, social finance models, outcomes-based philanthropy, or related fields within the social sector.

Applicants should possess a desire to enhance existing interventions or pilot a new social innovation across your organisation, and must be working in a registered social enterprise, charity, Institution of Public Character, or qualifying grantmaker.

The Studio will be most meaningful for professionals who have approximately 5 years of industry experience and above and currently hold a decision-making role in their teams/organisations. Other applicants will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Applications are currently closed. If you are interested in participating in a future run of the Tri-Sector Catalytic Impact Studio, please email us at masterclass@trisector.org.
